A network platform focused on business and ICT

On 26 June 2010 the “Den Dreef” stadium in Oud-Heverlee Leuven will be the rendezvous for cycling enthusiasts in Belgium. In the run-up to the Belgian Cycling Championship, which departs from Heverlee, Biz on the Bike is organising its “Biz on the Bike” get-together for business and ICT professionals, and their friends, family, and business partners.

If your company sponsors our event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet Patrick Lefevere and other figures from the cycling world in the Business Club of our Biz on the Bike village.

The starting line and finish line are situated in the Oud-Heverlee Leuven stadium, which will be placing its facilities at our disposal; a large car park and changing rooms with showers are available.

The Biz on the Bike Village provides drinks and snacks and is located in and around the stadium.

3 cycling tours are to be staged: the first of 57km (for amateur cyclists), a second of 100km and a longer tour of 145km (for hard-core cyclists). The tours are both closed circuits with the start and finish line at the Biz on the Bike Village (Oud-Heverlee Leuven stadion). You yourself can choose the mix of sport, business and entertainment on 26 June 2010.

Whilst you’re cycling you’ll pass through the splendid hilly environment of Walloon and Flemish Brabant. Strive for a healthy mind in a healthy body. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere in the "Bike Village" with its many stands and activities for the amateur cyclist. Meet other cycling enthusiasts from the business and ICT world. Spend a pleasant day out with your family and friends during the cycling event of 2010. And you could win one of the many prizes, such as a signed QuickStep shirt.

On 26 June 2010 the Biz on the Bike rendezvous will perfectly complement the Belgian Cycling Championship in Leuven. This is an ideal opportunity for you to identify your company/organisation with the winning teams and professionals from the cycling world, and to enhance your appeal:

  • A network platform focused on business and ICT during the cycling event in the Bike Village and the Business Club
  • “Smile, you’re in the picture!”: use the presence of our specialist media partners to create the tools that bring you residual value, such as video and photographic reports, and increase your visibility vis-à-vis those who weren’t able to attend.
  • Join prestigious organisations from the business and cycling world.
  • Use the presence of QuickStep and its manager Patrick Lefevere, former cyclist Frans Verbeeck, the Vermarc Sport cycling outfitters and various suppliers of high-quality bikes and accessories.

"The Challenge Us events offer a unique combination of personal challenge and teambuilding.Reaching your goal after months of preparation gives an enormous kick. Watching the group evolving into a real team along the way is really rewarding for me and inspiring for my professional situation."
